'Eddie' was inspired by the various tenor guitar-sized instruments made by the Selmer guitar company in the 1930s, upgraded with some modern features. The arm bevel flows seamlessly from the binding, providing extra comfort across the forearm.

The side soundport acts like a monitor to allow the player to hear the true sound of the guitar, which is has all the crunch and volume one might expect from these kinds of jazz instruments. The tenor model's smaller body size should not be underestimated either - this guitar is very powerful and holds up effortlessly even up against its bigger-bodied six-string relatives.

This guitar is currently set up for CGDA tuning, but will accomodate a wide range of alternative tunings.
