Gypsy Jazz Grande Bouche

A 'modern' interpretation of Mario Maccaferri's original design, this guitar updates the original 'D-hole' guitars with a full 670mm scale length and 14 frets clear of the body. This makes it an ideal lead instrument as well as an excellent rhythm guitar.

Tonally this guitar is one of the loudest I have ever built: in fact, I have found the longer scale length D-hole guitars to project even more than the oval hole models. If you are looking for maximum volume, it is worth considering this hybrid design.

- 14 fret D- hole

- Back and sides: Kew walnut

- Soundboard: European spruce

- Scale length: 670mm

- Finish: French polished (shellac)

- Special features: Custom heel cap, pickguard
